nemy API

nemy API is our business-facing product built for companies (e.g. electricity retailers and electric vehicle charger manufacturers) wanting to access our backend infrastructure. nemy API has a collection of simple endpoints that are designed to help people align their electricity usage with times of abundant renewable energy.

nemy API is linked to Nemweb market data, which is published by the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) and contains information such as the spot price.

nemy’s API is distributed through RapidAPI Hub, the world’s largest API Hub used by over three million developers. RapidAPI makes it easy for developers to get started with our API as well as monitor metrics like the number of API requests, latency, and error rates.

Why nemy API?

Electricity market data is hard to understand - people shouldn't be expected to understand whether $100/MWh is good or bad given wholesale energy market trends.

nemy API has a collection of endpoints which simplify energy market data down to what people need (i.e. "Good/Bad", "Cheap/Expensive", "Green/Polluting", "Green/Red"). With simpler information, more people will align their electricity usage with times of abundant renewable energy.
